She finally decided to visit her doctor for help
A blonde was having a terrible time with constipation, so she finally decided to visit her doctor for help.
After examining her, the doctor prescribed suppositories and carefully explained that they should help relieve the problem.
A week later, the blonde returned to the clinic, looking frustrated.
“Doctor, those medicines you gave me haven’t worked at all!” she complained.
The doctor looked surprised and asked, “Have you been using them regularly, just as I instructed?”
The blonde stared at him in disbelief, clearly offended by the question.
“Well, what do you think I’ve been doing with them?” she exclaimed. “Shoving them up my bum?”
The doctor paused, realizing that his patient had misunderstood the instructions or perhaps had a very different idea of what “taking medicine” meant!
Sometimes, the hardest part of a prescription isn’t the medicine itself it’s making sure everyone understands the directions!
