Two friends worked together at a sawmill, spending their days cutting timber and operating heavy machinery.
One afternoon, an unfortunate accident occurred when one of the men got too close to a spinning blade and lost his arm.
His quick-thinking coworker immediately placed the severed arm in a plastic bag and rushed to the hospital, hoping the doctors could reattach it. Thankfully, the surgeons managed to repair the injury.
The next day, the worried friend visited the hospital and was astonished to find his coworker already outside playing tennis.
“Incredible!” he exclaimed. “Medical science is absolutely amazing!”
About a month later, the two friends were back at the sawmill when another accident happened. This time, the same man got too close to the machinery and lost a leg.
Once again, his loyal friend carefully collected the injured man’s leg, placed it in a plastic bag, and hurried to the hospital. The doctors performed another operation, and the treatment appeared successful.
The following day, the friend went to check on him and found him outside playing football.
“Incredible!” he said again. “Medical science really is amazing!”
Another month passed, and the pair returned to work. Unfortunately, the same man had another accident near the spinning blade, and this time he lost his head.
His coworker panicked but remembered the previous successes.
He placed the head in a plastic bag and rushed straight to the hospital, hoping the doctors could work their magic once more.
The next day, he returned to visit his friend, but the man was nowhere to be found. After searching the hospital corridors, he spotted the doctor and hurried over.
“Doctor, where is my friend? I brought him here yesterday!”
The doctor paused for a moment, then remembered the case.
“Oh, yes,” he replied. “Some idiot put his head in a plastic bag, and he suffocated!”
