A mother sees her son watching television
One evening, Jimmy was sitting comfortably on the couch, completely focused on his favorite television show.
His mother walked into the living room, looked at him, and immediately noticed that the dishes were still sitting in the kitchen.
“Jimmy!” she said. “I thought I told you to do the dishes after you finished your homework.
Why are you sitting here watching television?”
Jimmy turned around with a completely innocent look on his face.
“It’s okay, Mom,” he said confidently. “I haven’t done my homework yet.”
His mother stared at him for a moment, realizing that Jimmy had found a very clever way to avoid doing the dishes. 😄
