The valentines day surprise
A few days before Valentine’s Day, a young woman was taking a relaxing afternoon nap.
When she woke up, she hurried into the living room and excitedly told her husband about the dream she had just had.
“Guess what I dreamed last night!”
Her husband smiled.
“What?”
“I dreamed that you gave me a beautiful pearl necklace for Valentine’s Day!” she said.
“What do you think that means?”
Her husband gave her a mysterious smile.
“Oh, I have a feeling you’ll find out later tonight.”
His wife’s eyes lit up.
“Really? You’re not going to tell me anything?”
“Nope,” he said, trying not to laugh.
For the rest of the day, she was convinced that something wonderful was coming.
That evening, her husband arrived home carrying a small, beautifully wrapped package.
He handed it to her with a smile.
“Happy Valentine’s Day!”
She practically jumped with excitement.
“This must be the necklace from my dream!”
She carefully opened the package.
Inside was a book.
She looked at the cover.
It was titled:
“The Meaning of Dreams.”
She stared at her husband in complete silence.
He smiled proudly.
“Well?”
She slowly picked up the book and said:
“You know, honey, I dreamed about a pearl necklace… but apparently you dreamed about sleeping on the couch!”
Her husband suddenly realized that his Valentine’s Day surprise had taken a very dangerous turn.
Some husbands give jewelry.
