Two friends decided to night out
Two friends decided to have a girls’ night out while their husbands stayed home.
They laughed, talked, and enjoyed themselves so much that they completely lost track of time.
Just before dawn, they finally started heading home.
On the way, both realized they desperately needed to make a quick stop.
Unfortunately, they were in a quiet area with nowhere convenient to go.
Then they noticed a small cemetery nearby.
They looked at each other.
“This is probably our only option,” one whispered.
They carefully walked inside, found a quiet corner, and took care of business as quickly as possible.
The first woman realized she had nothing with her to clean up afterward, so she used an old piece of cloth she had and decided to throw it away.
The second woman refused to sacrifice anything she might need later.
Instead, she noticed a ribbon attached to a nearby flower arrangement and used that.
Then the two friends hurried home.
The next morning, their husbands happened to be talking.
One husband sounded worried.
“I think our wives had quite an interesting night. Mine came home without something she had when she left.”
The other husband sighed.
“You think that’s bad?”
“Why?”
“My wife came home with something attached to her clothing.”
“What was it?”
The husband read the little card attached to it:
“We Will Never Forget You.”
There was a long silence.
Finally, the first husband said:
“Well, at least your wife came home with a souvenir. Mine apparently came home with nothing but questions!”
