A cop saw a car weaving all over the road
One evening, a police officer noticed a car weaving from one side of the road to the other.
Concerned for everyone’s safety, he switched on his flashing lights and pulled the car over.
When he approached the driver’s window, he found a well-dressed blonde woman sitting behind the wheel.
As she rolled down the window, he noticed a strong smell of alcohol.
“Good evening, ma’am,” he said politely.
“I’m going to give you a breathalyzer test to check whether you’ve been drinking.”
The woman nodded nervously as the officer handed her the testing device.
She followed his instructions and blew into it while he waited for the results.
A few minutes later, the officer returned with a serious expression.
“Well, ma’am,” he said, “the test suggests you’ve had a couple of stiff drinks tonight.”
The woman’s cheeks turned bright red.
She looked at the officer in complete embarrassment and exclaimed:
“Oh, my goodness! You mean this machine can tell that, too?”
The officer stared at her, momentarily speechless.
He had been talking about strong alcoholic drinks, but she had misunderstood his words entirely!
He shook his head, trying not to laugh, and realized that this traffic stop was going to be one he would remember for a long time.
Sometimes, it’s not the test results that surprise you most it’s the answer you get afterward!
