A guy asked a girl in a university library

One afternoon, a young man was studying in a quiet university library when he noticed a girl sitting at a nearby table.

He politely approached her and asked, “Excuse me, would you mind if I sat beside you?”

Suddenly, the girl raised her voice and shouted, “I DON’T WANT TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH YOU!”

Everyone in the library stopped studying and stared at the young man. His face turned bright red as he tried to explain himself, but nobody seemed interested in hearing his side of the story.

A few minutes later, the girl walked over to his table and spoke quietly.

“I study psychology,” she explained.

“I know how people think. You must have felt terribly embarrassed when everyone looked at you, right?”

The young man smiled, then suddenly shouted, “FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR ONE NIGHT? THAT’S WAY TOO MUCH!”

This time, every head turned toward the girl.

She stood there speechless while the entire library stared at her in disbelief.

The young man leaned closer and whispered with a grin:

“I study law. I know how to turn the tables!”
