Three Scotsmen were sitting in a bar

Three Scotsmen were sitting together in their favorite local bar, enjoying an evening of conversation and sharing a few stories over their drinks.

After a while, the oldest man became thoughtful and said, “Lads, there’s something I want you to promise me. When my time comes and I’m laid to rest, I’d like one of you to pour a bottle of the finest Scottish whisky over my grave.”

The two younger Scotsmen nodded respectfully.

“Of course,” one of them replied. “You’ve been a good friend to us, and we’ll make sure your final wish is honored.”

The old man smiled warmly, pleased that his friends had agreed so easily.

But just as he was about to raise his glass, the younger Scot leaned forward with a mischievous grin and asked, “There’s just one little thing we’d like to know before we make that promise.”

The old man raised an eyebrow. “And what might that be?”

His friend smiled and delivered the perfect Scottish response:

“Would you mind if we let it pass through our kidneys first?”

The old Scot stared at them for a moment, then burst out laughing.

Apparently, even a final farewell couldn’t stop a Scotsman from looking for a practical way to enjoy a good bottle of whisky!
