A young woman visited her doctor
A young woman visited her doctor because she had noticed a strange mark on her stomach.
She was curious about what had caused it and hoped the doctor could explain it.
After examining the mark carefully, the doctor gave her a thoughtful look.
“Tell me,” he asked, “do you happen to have a boyfriend who attends the University of Wisconsin?”
The woman looked surprised by the question.
“Why would you ask me that?” she replied.
The doctor smiled proudly. “You see, I’m not only a doctor; I’m also an amateur detective. The mark looks as though it may have been caused by the rough fabric of a sweater rubbing against your skin. I suspect your partner wears a sweater with the university’s initial letter displayed prominently on the front.”
The woman laughed, impressed by his reasoning.
“Not bad, Doctor! Not bad at all!” she said.
The doctor looked pleased with himself, but he still wanted to confirm his theory.
“So, am I right? Do you have a boyfriend who studies at Wisconsin?”
The woman shook her head with a mischievous smile.
“Nope,” she replied. “But I’ve got a girlfriend from Michigan!”
