A blonde wife came home
After her first day commuting into the city, a blonde wife came home looking completely exhausted.
Her husband took one look at her and asked,
“Honey, are you okay? You look a little pale.”
She sighed and dropped her bag by the door.
“Not really. I feel terribly nauseous.”
“Oh no! What happened?”
“I spent the whole train ride sitting backward,” she explained.
“Every time the train moved, I felt like the whole world was going in the wrong direction.”
Her husband felt sorry for her.
“Why didn’t you just ask the person sitting across from you to switch seats?”
She stared at him for a moment and said, “I would have…”
Then she shrugged.
“But there wasn’t anyone sitting across from me.”
Her husband paused.
“So… why didn’t you turn around?”
She smiled confidently.
“Because, honey, I was already sitting backward!”
Her husband just shook his head and laughed.
“Tomorrow,” he said, “let’s start with the train seat… and work our way up to directions.”
