After years of marriage, a woman finally decided she had had enough of her husband’s constant romantic advances.

Feeling exhausted and frustrated, she visited a divorce lawyer to discuss ending their marriage.

After listening carefully, the lawyer asked, “Do you still love your husband?”

“Of course I do!” she replied.

“But it seems that romance is all he ever thinks about. I simply can’t keep up with him anymore!”

The lawyer considered the situation and offered an unusual suggestion.

“Before you file for divorce, why not charge him a little something each time? Perhaps that will help you reach a compromise.”

The woman thought it was a brilliant idea and hurried home, hoping to save her marriage with this clever new arrangement.

As soon as she walked through the door, her husband came over with his usual romantic intentions.

“Not so fast!” she announced. “From now on, there’s a price list: ten dollars in the kitchen, twenty in the living room, and fifty in the bedroom!”

Her husband immediately reached into his wallet, pulled out a fifty-dollar bill, and handed it to her.

“Wonderful!” she said, heading toward the bedroom.

But he caught her hand and grinned.

“Hold on, sweetheart! That fifty dollars means five times in the kitchen!”
