The dog and his owner unexpected competition
A woman had a dog that snored so loudly she finally called the veterinarian to ask if there was a way to stop it.
The vet suggested tying a ribbon around the dog’s private area.
Curious to see if it would work, she found a ribbon in her sewing basket and followed his advice. To her surprise, the dog stopped snoring!
That evening, her husband came home drunk, climbed into bed, and began snoring almost immediately. Remembering the trick that had worked so well on the dog, she decided to try it again.
She fetched another ribbon and tied it around her husband. Sure enough, the snoring stopped.
Later that night, her husband got up to use the bathroom. Passing the mirror, he noticed a blue ribbon tied around himself.
Then he spotted the dog nearby, wearing a red ribbon.
He stared at the dog and said, “Well, boy, I don’t know where we’ve been, but we won first and second place!”
