The two beggars of london

Two beggars, Ali and Habib, worked different areas of London every day.

They spent about the same number of hours asking passersby for help, but their results were completely different.

Habib usually collected just £2 or £3 a day.

Ali, on the other hand, returned home with a suitcase full of £10 notes.

He even drove a Mercedes, owned a house without a mortgage, and enjoyed a comfortable lifestyle.

One day, Habib couldn’t hold back his curiosity any longer.

“Ali, we work equally hard and spend the same amount of time begging. How do you manage to earn so much while I barely make a few pounds?”

Ali smiled and asked, “Have you ever looked carefully at your sign? What does it say?”

Habib looked down at his sign, which read, “I have no job, a wife, and six children to support.”

Ali nodded. “Well, that explains why people give you so little!”

Then Habib asked, “All right, Ali. What does your sign say?”

Ali pulled out his sign and showed it to him.

And that was when Habib finally understood the secret behind Ali’s success!
