When Jane first met Tarzan in the jungle
When Jane first met Tarzan in the jungle, she was fascinated by his unusual way of life.
Curious about how he had grown up, she began asking him questions about the things he had experienced.
Eventually, Jane asked, “Tarzan, have you ever been in love?”
Tarzan scratched his head and replied, “Tarzan not know love.”
Jane tried to explain relationships and romance in a way Tarzan could understand.
After listening carefully, Tarzan suddenly smiled.
“Ohhh,” he said.
“Tarzan understand now!”
Jane thought she had finally gotten through to him.
Later, Jane tried to explain things even more clearly, but Tarzan suddenly stopped her and said, “Wait!”
He carefully looked around the tree and the ground nearby.
Jane asked, “What are you looking for?”
Tarzan pointed toward a tree and answered very seriously:
“Always check for squirrel!”
Jane stared at him for a moment before bursting out laughing.
She finally realized that Tarzan had misunderstood the entire conversation.
Apparently, jungle safety came before romance!
Sometimes, the funniest misunderstandings happen when two people are speaking the same language but thinking completely different thoughts.
