The queen and dolly parton

The Queen and Dolly Parton arrive at heaven’s gates on the same day, hoping St. Peter will welcome them inside.

Unfortunately, he explains that there is only one place available, so each must give him a good reason to be admitted.

St. Peter turns to Dolly first and asks why she deserves the spot.

Dolly confidently gestures toward her famous figure and says, “These are two of God’s finest creations, and I’m certainly proud of them!”

St. Peter thanks her politely, then turns to the Queen and asks for her reason. Her Majesty calmly takes a bottle of sparkling water from her purse, gives it a shake, and performs an unexpected personal-cleaning ritual.

St. Peter immediately opens the gates for the Queen.

Dolly is shocked. “Wait a minute! I showed you two of God’s creations, while she did something completely unexpected and she gets in instead of me? How is that fair?”

St. Peter smiles and explains, “Sorry, Dolly, but a royal flush beats a pair any day!”
